Aristotle (384–322 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher and student of Plato. Aristotle fundamentally disagreed with the dualistic take of his teacher, and instead argued moreso on the side of Monism. He believed that rather than reality coming from ideas, ideas come from reality. Because we observe reality, this is how we create the ideas of things in our heads.
